C# software developer

qmt has been developing and integrating mechatronic automated testing and quality control solutions for over 30 years. A human-sized company based in Switzerland and France, qmt counts among its clients world leaders in various cutting-edge industries, namely watchmaking, medical, automotive and rail. Our successes are the result of the involvement of our team in offering innovative solutions. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a C# Software Developer.

Assignment

To create automatic quality control and test systems, you will be responsible for the development of software solutions and will participate in the development of standard products as well as the creation of tailor-made solutions. You will install your own creations for clients, mainly in France and Switzerland, potentially throughout the world.

Responsibilities

Provide functional analyzes and define architectures of control and instrumentation software systems, in C# and/or LabVIEW
Estimate the direct and indirect costs of software subassemblies and assemblies
Provide technical support to the sales team
Conduct and document studies
Design, produce, finalize and modify software and multi-business solutions and data and signal processing algorithms
Install and develop turnkey solutions
Carry out validations and train customers and employees
Provide technical support to train, troubleshoot, improve the solutions provided to customers
Propose innovative solutions and conduct studies and innovation efforts

Desired profile

This position is suitable for a woman or a man, Software Developer Engineer in C#, with good knowledge of industrial and production environments. Interested in automated control and test applications, you are autonomous and able to evolve in a team. You favor simple and robust solutions.

Be Agile, Reliable and in search of Excellence
Engineer in industrial computing, physical measurement, instrumentation or title deemed equivalent
At least 3 years of experience developing software in C#
Desired experience in Data Sciences: AI and Big Data
Desired experience in development in LabVIEW, Python and Java languages
Ability to communicate proactively internally and externally
Very good knowledge of French; knowledge of English (minimum B1)
