Since the founding of QMT in 1989, hundreds of systems have been developed, installed and maintained worldwide for renowned customers in the watchmaking, medical, automotive and rail industries.
QMT began its history as a materials science laboratory and then moved into solutions for automated quality control. Since 2015, QMT has expanded with the acquisition of the company SAPHIR in order to add know-how and expand geographically.
In 2019, QMT continues to develop its range of products and services as well as its know-how to integrate the latest technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Big Data.
Time flies so quickly, already our 30th anniversary!
I am happy to participate in the success of QMT within a team that is committed on a daily basis. If QMT has been able to develop, it is thanks to each employee who contributes their know-how and energy on a daily basis. When I speak of a team, I naturally mean our extended team with our colleagues from SAPHIR.
I also want to thank our partners who are essential for QMT to meet the expectations of its customers. Some of them have been with us for most of our history.
Of course, QMT could not celebrate this 30th anniversary without its customers who challenge and support us. I thank them for their trust.
In 1989, QMT digitized signals for innovative services: 30 years ahead!
Computerized image processing in 1990! The equipment did not exist on the market, QMT developed it.
Automatically measure the microhardness of watchmaking microcomponents? QMT did it in 1994!
Multimicro automatically detected and measured the position of the part in order to position it to the micron to take an automatic impression. Finally, the imprint was measured automatically by image analysis to calculate the hardness.
