Update of COVID-19 measures
Update of measures related to COVID-19
Resumption of activities outside the home office

After a first phase focused on public health, we are starting a second phase which aims to return to normal as soon as possible to limit the economic impacts of this crisis both for qmt and for our customers. The measures decided on March 16 are modified as follows:

  • the home office is still privileged but the restrictions on access to the premises are lightened
  • access to premises and customer sites is now authorized while respecting the protective measures (2 meters away, no more than 5 people)
  • qmt employees will put on a mask when externs are present, we will appreciate that externs do the same without us imposing it
  • meetings are carried out by video conference

These measures are valid since April 27, 2020 in Switzerland and May 11, 2020 in France, they will be reassessed according to the evolution of the situation.

The economy must learn to live with COVID-19

We took strict protective measures on March 16 to protect the health of employees and help slow the spread of the virus. After 6 weeks, it is now necessary to resume the stopped economic activities while respecting the legal constraints and protection measures. We must learn to live with the presence of COVID-19 while aiming for a return to normalcy as soon as possible. Our first duty is to preserve the health of all but the second is to limit the economic impact of this crisis for qmt and our customers.

We must be realistic, it is very likely that we will not return to the situation before the crisis, a new era will begin. It is certain that tomorrow the world will be different, the question is to know what will be the changes which will impact the economy. No one knows the answer, governments and different organizations are making assumptions about economic developments, potential changes for this or that industry ... Given the extraordinary nature of this crisis, everything is new and it is difficult to foresee the future: a rapid recovery without any fundamental change, a deep crisis calling into question the fundamentals or any other intermediate option? The world was already changing rapidly with a significant amount of the unknown which only kept increasing.

However, it is certain that there will be opportunities, it will be necessary to seize them and adapt to transform them into success.

qmt is organized to identify new opportunities and adapt to turn them into success. Do not hesitate to let us know your needs so that we can take them into account in our developments. I suggest that we use collective intelligence to be stronger and thus get through this difficult moment.

I wish everyone good luck and success
